Bellows Falls

Our daily bread

The sunday Service at First Baptist Church of Bellows Falls focuses on the importance and meaning of the Lord’s Prayer will continue this Sunday. Last week we began our look at center of this prayer. The Lord taught the disciples to ask God to “Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” Here, Jesus invites us into direct conversation with God. As part of this conversation, we must ask ourselves what it means to ask for daily bread and what does it look like when we receive it. We must also consider what forgiveness looks like and, more importantly, why we should forgive. Join us this Sunday as we consider these important questions and seek answers together. The title of Sunday’s Sermon is “The Lord Provides.” Pastor’s office hours are 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturdays followed by Bible Study from 3-4pm where we will continue our in-depth study of the Gospel of Luke. We welcome all to join us for worship, music and community. The Sunday service begins at 10 a.m. Sunday school for high school aged youth begins at 9:40. Sunday School for all other age groups begins following the children’s time. Child care is also provided following the children’s time. For more information, contact Pastors Steven and Terri at 802-463-3220. Located at 9 Church Street. American Baptists serve others as “the hands and feet of Jesus.”
