Misericordia University hosted a two-day event, “Commemorating International Holocaust Remembrance Day: Reflecting on the Past to Protect the Future,’’ with Maimonides Institutes for Medicine, Ethics, and the Holocaust of Freehold, N.J., The event was presented by three experts on the Holocaust, Dr. Matthew Wynia, M.D., director of the Center for Bioethics and Humanities at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus; Dr. Stacy Gallin, founder and director of Maimonides Institutes for Medicine, Ethics, and the Holocaust and Dr. Patricia Heberer Rice, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Misericordia University students, Katie Tota, Ana Rogers and Cassy Silveri look over an exhibit in the art gallery.
