Brevard GOP chairman to speak on expanding membership – Florida News

The new chairman of the Brevard Republican Executive Committee will be speaking at events in February about the GOP’s plan to further boost its membership.

On Feb. 8, Lacey will make a presentation at the Brevard Republican Executive Committee’s monthly meeting about the committee’s action plan and goals for 2017, which will include the Brevard County voter registration drive, fundraising to serve the needs of the Brevard Republican Party, and this year’s committee assignments. The agenda also includes a recap of the Florida Republican Party’s annual meeting in Orlando.


The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, 8298 N. Wickham Road, Viera. Networking will be from 6:30 to 7 p.m., followed by a one-hour meeting at 7 p.m. Registered Republicans who want to attend should bring their voter registration card.

“Our monthly meeting is a great way to dip your conservative toe in the local political waters and meet Brevard Republicans,” Lacey said in a statement announcing the meeting.

Brevard Republican Executive Committee meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month.

Republican Women meeting: On Feb. 13, Lacey will speak at a meeting of the Brevard Federated Republican Women about plans to seek and register the next generation of GOP leaders.
