National drug take back is April 29 – News – Stuttgart Daily Leader – Stuttgart, AR – Arkansas News

“On this date anyone wishing to discard any prescription drugs or over-the-counter medications may do so by coming to the Stuttgart Police Department and placing them in our drop box located in the police lobby adjacent to the south parking lot,” Connell said in a press release.

Stuttgart Police Department Chief of Police Keith Connell announced that the National Drug Take Back initiative would be held Saturday, April 29.

“On this date anyone wishing to discard any prescription drugs or over-the-counter medications may do so by coming to the Stuttgart Police Department and placing them in our drop box located in the police lobby adjacent to the south parking lot,” Connell said in a press release.

The drop-off hours for this event are from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., however, the drop box is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“Arkansas is ranked No. 1 in the nation for prescription drug abuse and by you bringing in your unwanted drugs, can and will make a difference, not only in our community, but our nation,” Connell said.
