Olympic planners also envision triathlon and Paralympic triathlon competitors running, swimming and bicycling near Long Beach Shoreline Marina.
LA 2024 Chairman Casey Wasserman said in a statement that if the 2024 games are awarded to Los Angeles, the planned Long Beach venues would benefit from links to regional public transit and while being close enough for spectators to walk from event to event.
