Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center workers are stocking supplies to prepare for the opening of the new operating room area.
Hospital officials updated members of the Board of Trustees on progress of the OR construction at Thursday’s meeting, after which three trustees toured the new facility. The 8,500-square foot expansion and renovation is the latest phase in the hospital’s improvement plan.
Hospital Chief Executive Officer Dennis Franks read off a schedule of certification dates the surgery area will undergo between now and the beginning of June. The first OR will go live on June 3 for any emergency surgeries, and the rest of the area will open June 5 for the first scheduled surgery.
