Deputies made an arrest early today in the stabbing death of a man in Fort Myers.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, it received a call about 12:50 a.m. about a stabbing in the 4300 block of Ballard Road, across from Lozano’s Grocery.
The victim was unresponsive and taken to the hospital, where deputies said he was pronounced dead. Officials didn’t release the victim’s name.
Detectives identified the suspect in the stabbing as Casino Hill, 18, of Fort Myers. They arrested him in the area behind a convenience store in the 1500 block of Ortiz Avenue.
He is charged with one count of second-degree murder and remained in Lee County Jail on Saturday morning.
