A man who was shot around 4:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 3300 block of N. 38th St. has died, Milwaukee police said Friday.
Police said Qwaishuan D. Henning, 19, died Thursday and that they are still searching for a suspect or suspects, as well as a motive.
Online court records show Henning pleaded guilty to an armed robbery in Milwaukee County and was sentenced in June 2015 to three years and six months in prison and five years of extended supervision.
But he was released from prison by a judge in July 2016 after the state Department of Corrections requested that the remainder of his time in prison be converted to extended supervision, the records show.
