Stuttgart couple Debby and Curtis Ahrens make volunteering a passion in pre, post retirement – News – Stuttgart Daily Leader – Stuttgart, AR – Arkansas News

Just some of the ways they helped before RSVP included: Being involved in the baseball program where Curtis Ahrens was the president of the Stuttgart Little League from 1988 to 1998; he was also a member of the Stuttgart Chapter American Legion Committee from 1998 to 2014; Debby began helping with the Wings Over the Prairie Festival in early 1990s; and Debby had been helping with the Stuttgart Parks and Recreation committee for many years.

This is the fifth in a series of articles about the men and woman behind the scenes that sometimes contribute so much time and effort without being recognized.

For Stuttgart couple, Curtis and Debby Ahrens, volunteering came easy to them as they were helping in many capacities across the city before becoming Southeast Arkansas RSVP members.
