A power-packed West Division led the honorees in Bryan County Baseball All Conference selections by local coaches recently.

Class A state finalist Tushka was the West Division champions and were sparked by the Pitcher of the Year in Zach Dill.

The West Division Most Valuable Player however was Calera’s Shawn Harper, who fueled the Bulldogs to their second ever state tournament appearance. He finished with a blistering .475 batting average that included 13 doubles and eight homers as well as 34 RBI. He also notched an 8-1 record on the mound with two saves and a 0.37 earned run average.

All Conference picks from the West Division included Cooper Hamilton from Calera, Rock Creek’s Josh Eiler and Christian McGowan, the Silo trio of Hunter Ratcliffe, Jake Hamilton and Braeden Wright along with Tyler Frank, Mason Brinkley and Cole Broughton all from Tushka.

On the East side, the Division champion was Caddo with Soper claiming both the Pitcher of the Year in Cody White and Most Valuable Player with Mason Springfield.

Other East Division All Conference selections were Zane Westbrook of Achille, Bennington’s Kody Powell, Tucker McWilliams and Anthony Perez as well as Darin Brown, Levi Russell and Walker Sullivan from Boswell, Caddo’s Colton Ledford along with Ethan Howser and Ethan Bacon from Soper.

Tushka’s Dax Simon, who guided the Tigers to the state finals in both the fall and spring seasons, was chosen as the conference Coach of the Year.
