Great music, good food and a grand setting will be at the same place Friday during one of OK Mozart’s most popular events — the Woolaroc outdoor concert.
The family-friendly event, planned at 8 p.m. Friday, features the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra performing a selection of Disney movie themes. Enjoy songs from “The Little Mermaid,” “Mary Poppins,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Frozen,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” and more.
“Woolaroc has always been a very special family event, but this year we are excited to add a little magic to the outdoor concert,” said Mary Lynn Mihm, OKM festival chairman.
Held on the banks of Clyde Lake, the concert highlights the music festival taking place in Bartlesville this week. Families and music enthusiasts can add to the fun of the evening by enjoying dinner before the concert under the stars begins.
“Don’t worry about bringing a picnic, we will have food and beverage trucks on hand,” said Mihm.
Gates open at 5:30 and tickets will be available at the gate. General admission is $35 and student (ages 6-21) admission is $15. Ages 5 and under are free but require a ticket. Disney characters, like Mickey and Minnie, Cinderella and Belle, will even be on grounds and free mouse ears will be given to children (while supplies last).
Pre-concert entertainment will include dancing by Delaware Tribe of Indians at 6 p.m. and then songs by Children’s Musical Theatre alumni at 6:45 p.m. A spectacular firework show will top off the evening.
In case of inclement weather, the concert will move to the Bartlesville Community Center. Any change will be broadcast…
