HUMBOLDT — The USD 258 Humboldt Board of Education approved 2017-2018 school food service prices at its regular board meeting Monday.
Some prices were raised by five cents, and adult meal prices were increased by .15 cents by recommendation from Superintendent Kay Lewis.
Lewis said the price increase is the minimum price increase needed to keep the prices low while protecting the district from having to offset costs out of its general fund.
The cost for breakfast will be $1.75 for all students and $2.10 for adults. The reduced breakfast cost will be 30 cents.
