6 adults, 7 kids displaced after early morning fire – New York News

Six adults and seven children were displaced after a two-alarm fire on Roycroft Drive in Rochester early Thursday morning. 

Three people were taken to an area hospital with injuries not considered life threatening, according to Lt. Dana Cieslinski of the Rochester Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to the fire about 12:05 a.m. and brought the blaze under control in about 90 minutes, Cieslinski said. 

Cieslinski said a food mart attached to the home sustained extensive heat and smoke damage. 

The cause of the fire in under investigation.
