Anderson-Dean Addresses Bathroom Problem – The Harrodsburg Herald – Kentucky News

Last month over 400 people visited the Anderson-Dean Community Park for the grand opening of the Kendyl and Friends Playground. Crimson Claycomb, who spearheaded the project, said 382 people from 31 different counties registered at the event.

While the ribbon cutting at the new playground was an overwhelming success, one problem has arisen: the lack of handicap accessible bathrooms.

“This is not a want, but a need,” said Claycomb. “We have people coming from all across the state to use this playground. We have to have a handicap accessible bathroom for them to use.”

The new retaining wall and stair cases are completed at the Anderson-Dean Park softball fields.
