The Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise has teamed up with nine area businesses to offer print and online readers a opportunity to win a two-night, three-day getaway.
Readers should go to one or all participating businesses between Wednesday and June 21 to enter. Each one of the businesses will give away a trip on or about June 26.
EE Publisher Matt Tranquill said each business will draw from its entries for their getaway trip. Each winner from the nine local businesses will be entered into a regional drawing for a six-night, seven-day cruise to Alaska or Hawaii. A flight to the port is included in the cruise.
“This is a great opportunity to come by one of our local community business for the first time, or just an excuse to stop in to one of them that you frequent regularly. Small hometown businesses are the backbone of any community,” Tranquill said.
The getaways are to elite hotel destinations, such as the Hyatt Regency, Wyndham Hotels, Hilton, Marriott, Doubletree and Embassy Suites. They are as close as Tulsa or Oklahoma City, if travelers want a small drive, Tranquill said.
There will be ads in the EE print edition and on the EE’s Facebook page to guide readers to participating businesses. The nine participating businesses are:
• Heritage Theatre Cafe and Pub, 306 Don Tyler Ave., Dewey
• Limestone Pharmacy, 3803 Nowata Road, Bartlesville
• Glamour Pets, 127 NE Washington Blvd., Bartlesville
• Michaels, 596 SE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville
• Evans Nursery, 111 Beck Drive, Bartlesville
• Two Tall Okies, 700 1/2 N. Delaware St., Dewey
