A Web-based instruction and assessment tool, students are accessed based on academic standards for each grade level and each student has an individualized plan. Ascend Math has rigorous standards and is delivered in a logical math sequence where students progress at their own paces and track individual progress and success. The program is used by hundreds of schools and districts, serving more than 100,000 students throughout the United States and Canada. The course is used primarily in the secondary special education class.
“I congratulate all of your teaching staff and acknowledge the success of your hard work,” said Jeff Jennings, representing Ascend.
“As educators, our biggest challenge has been finding materials that are engaging and challenging for the secondary learner,” said Nancy Yarberry, teacher. “Based on the class progress reports, we have seen significant growth in student achievement.”
“Your school has had the most amazing results and progress that’s nowhere even close to any other school,” said Jennings.
