Ram Job: Denise Loving, 31, of the 300 block of Oakland Street, was arrested Monday afternoon for repeatedly ramming her Buick into another vehicle. Officers were detailed to the 800 block of North Olden Avenue on the report of a female armed with a knife. In route, officers were further advised that the suspect was in a brown Buick and that she had just struck the caller’s vehicle. When the officers arrived, the suspect’s Buick, as well as the caller’s vehicle, were not on scene. Police then received a call that the victim was currently at the U-Haul on Brunswick Street and the suspect was still chasing her. When officers arrived at the U-Haul, they observed the victim’s vehicle driving through the parking lot with the Buick directly behind. When officers activated their emergency lights, the Buick exited the lot and took off on Evans Avenue. The Buick was stopped by police at the corner at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Vine Street. Loving was found to have and active warrant and was placed under arrest. The female victim stated that she was followed by Loving to the Exxon gas station on North Olden Avenue. While she was there, Loving was attempting to fight her. She believed that Loving was in possession of a weapon and she got into her vehicle in an attempt to leave the location.
