Thomas Kevin Huey, who likes to be called Kevin, has been a client of the Grand Prairie Job Center since 1989. He enjoys spending time at the center and currently lives with his mother.

Kevin is also a Bocce player,” Melody Smith, client services manager at Stuttgart’s Grand Prairie Job Center, said. “He enjoys everything outdoors.”

Huey enjoys hunting and fishing. He has a gift about deciding what is wrong with anything that has an engine, even an automobile or lawn mower, Smith said.

“I am happy that I fixed a vacuum cleaner here at the center,” Huey, who is a 1989 graduate of Stuttgart High School, said. 

He also assists with Lennox Connectors and helping others at the Grand Prairie Job Center.

Huey helps the transportation department there in a number of ways, which includes:

• Washing the van

• Sweeping the vans out

• Putting gas in the vans

• Going to get oil changes for the vehicles

• Going to Petrus Automotive for automobile maintenance or repairs.

Huey also takes care of all of the shredding of the Grand Prairie Job Center documents, because he removes all of the staples from the paper before it has to be…
