Upper Darby cops make arrests in ‘Bull Dog’ heroin ring

Investigators busted what township police Superintendent Michael Chitwood called a “major heroin distribution operation” Tuesday, arresting six people – including two alleged ring leaders –and confiscating 182 bags of heroin, four loaded firearms and $1,200 cash. Of the 182 bags of heroin, 70 were stamped “Bull Dog,” the same marking found on bags of heroin that several individuals had overdosed on in recent days in the township.
