BUMPER LEFT AT CRASH SCENE: Caller at the intersection of West Church and Hortense streets reported at 7:52 a.m. Thursday that the bumper and license plate belonging to one of the vehicles involved in a recent collision had been left at the scene. An officer responded and took a report of found property.
BURGLARY: Caller in the 700 block of North State Street reported at 10:40 a.m. Thursday that something had been stolen from a shed. An officer responded and took a report.
SHOPLIFTER: An officer responded to Kohl’s on North Orchard Avenue at 1:35 p.m. Thursday and arrested a 44-year-old woman for shoplifting.
CAT BITE: An officer responded to the 1100 block of Airport Park Boulevard at 1:51 p.m. Thursday and took a report of a cat bite.
WINDOWS EGGED: Caller in the 500 block of Ford Street reported at 7:40 p.m. Thursday that eggs had been thrown at windows by juveniles. An officer responded and spoke to both the juveniles and their parents.
DUI ARREST: An officer stopped a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of South Orchard Avenue at 1:04 a.m. Friday and arrested Juan Garibay-Vazquez, 20, of Ukiah, on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was booked into Mendocino County Jail.
DEATH: An officer responded to the 1200 block of North Pine Street at 5:20 a.m. Friday for a welfare check and took a report of a death.
