VBS at Mt. Hermon Church

Volunteers at Mt. Hermon Church in rural Jay will host Makers Fun Factory Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8 p.m., now until Friday, June 16, at the church, 18035 East 420 Road, Jay.

A bus will pick children up at the Jay Walmart parking lot from 5:15 to 5:30 p.m., each evening and return for drop off at 8:15 p.m.

The VBS evening program, and bike drawing, will take place at 6 p.m., Friday, June 16. The week theme will focus on being created by God and built for a purpose.

59th Siloam Springs Rodeo

The 59th Annual Siloam Springs Rodeo will take place Thursday, June 15 to Saturday, June 17, at the Siloam Spring Rodeo Grounds, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

The event is hosted by the Siloam Springs Riding Club. The event typically includes a mutton busting competition and junior barrel racing competition.

Admission is $10 per night for adults; $5 for children 7-12 years old while children ages six and under can enter for free. Thursday night, all kids 12 years old and under get in free with a paying adult. There will also be a calf scramble each night.

Movies in the Park – Langley

Volunteers with the town of Langley will host a “Movies in the Park,” a free family-friendly event, in the Village Park in Langley throughout the next three months.

The season will feature eight movies outside in the Village Park, in the south baseball field, at dark. The next show is set for Friday, June 9.
