DUNCAN — What better way to start a Fourth of July celebration than with a warm, fluffy stack of pancakes?

The Duncan Valley Rural Fire District will be hosting its first Pancake Breakfast at Centennial Park.

Beginning at 7 a.m., and running until 11 a.m., for a $5 donation guests will be able to get in on the hot breakfast action. Proceeds from the event will help the department purchase a new firetruck.

Pancake lovers will also be in the perfect place to catch the action for the Town of Duncan’s Fourth of July Parade.

Line-up for the parade begins at 7 a.m., with the parade beginning at 8 a.m.
