Havasu woman suspected of ramming man’s car | Local News Stories – Arizona News

A Lake Havasu City woman was arrested June 27 in the 800 block of Falcon Drive after she allegedly used her ex-husband’s vehicle to ram another man’s car four times, causing significant damage.

Angelique N. Nix, 42, was later arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and criminal damage, both felonies, along with disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

The victim told police the incident happened when he was driving to work. Nix reportedly struck the victim’s vehicle when he was attempting to turn at a stop sign, followed him and proceeded to rear end his car, causing the bumper to partially come off. When the victim stopped on Chaparrel Drive to remove the bumper, Nix allegedly drove next to his vehicle and crashed into his driver’s side door.

Later, Nix told police it was the alleged victim who had struck her car initially. Police said the damage to the vehicles did not match her statements. She was then taken into custody without incident.
