Junior Auxiliary to host Camp Kaleidoscope – News – Gurdon Times – Gurdon, AR – Arkansas News

Junior Auxiliary of Arkadelphia will host its annual Camp Kaleidoscope July 10-13 at the Arkadelphia Recreation Center from 5-8 p.m.

Junior Auxiliary of Arkadelphia will host its annual Camp Kaleidoscope July 10-13 at the Arkadelphia Recreation Center from 5-8 p.m.
Junior Auxiliary of Arkadelphia’s Camp Kaleidoscope offers children the opportunity to take part in a free day camp for children entering kindergarten through sixth grades.
“We’re planning fun-filled crafts, games, exciting activities, and much more,” explained organizer Nicole Bingham.
Children will also be treated to entertaining—and educational—guest speakers each evening.
According to organizer Allyson Griffin, members have been planning, researching, and shopping for months to prepare for camp.
“I have been more than happy to put forth such effort in planning in order to provide children with an exciting camp adventure,” said Griffin.
Hoping their organizing will pay off, both Bingham and Griffin anticipate the event will give children a unique, perhaps once in a lifetime, experience.
Those doing the planning aren’t the only ones looking forward to camp this year. “Our entire organization is very excited (about camp),” said President Lacy Wolfe. “Camp Kaleidoscope is one of our projects where we get to interact with the children of Clark County, which is especially meaningful for our members.”
Registration and consent forms can be picked up at one of these locations: Arkadelphia Kids Club (Third St. Baptist Church), Compassion Women’s Clinic, Bank of the Ozarks, and the Arkadelphia Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce. Forms…
