Entering the final week of competition, the Paradise Storm 17-under American Legion team battled the Red Bluff Bulls Monday on the road, followed by a Saturday doubleheader in Yuba City against the 15-under Honkers.
Four games to end the season as officials confirmed this week that the Storm (11-8-1) will not have playoffs this year.
Paradise is coming off a 20-3 win over Shasta County (15-under) at Big League Dreams ballpark in Redding last week, grabbing its 11th win of the summer. Two weeks ago, the Storm split its final doubleheader at Moore Road ballpark against Fairfield.

Paradise’s 19-under team, Feather River Gold began its final week in Chico against the Nuts in a doubleheader. Check for results at www.paradisepost.com. Two days later, Feather River (8-20) travels northeast to take on the Redding Tigers at Feather River College in Quincy.
On Saturday, Mike Santuccio’s team will finish up in Mount Shasta against Siskiyous Spirits, a team that the Nuts beat rather handily last weekend at Doryland Field in Chico.
Thursday’s doubleheader in Quincy begins at 11 a.m., while Saturday’s schedule is set for noon.
