Ukiah police and fire log: Sunday, July 16, 2017 – California News



POLICE REPORTS

The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Ukiah Police Department. To anonymously report crime information, call 463-6205.

VEHICLE PROWLING: Caller in the 1200 block of South State Street reported at 3:53 a.m. July 8 that two men were looking into vehicles. An officer responded but the men were gone.

BICYCLE VS. VEHICLE: Caller at the corner of Highland Drive and Standley Street reported at 8:27 a.m. July 8 that a bicycle and vehicle had collided. An officer responded and determined that the bicyclist was at fault and there was minimal damage to the vehicle.

BURGLARY: Caller in the 100 block of Thomas Street reported at 9:06 a.m. July 8 that a vehicle had been burglarized. An officer responded and took a report.

MAN STAGGERING: Caller in the 1000 block of South State Street reported at 3:45 p.m. July 8 that a man was staggering into traffic. An officer responded and determined the man was drunk.

STOLEN VEHICLE: An officer arrested a Fresno man on suspicion of possession of drugs and a stolen vehicle as well as a Butte County warrant.

MAN YELLING AT SKY: Caller at Burger King on East Perkins Street reported at 8:48 a.m. July 9 that a man was sitting on a bench and “yelling at the sky and customers as they walk in.” An officer responded and the man left upon request.

VEHICLE BURGLARIZED: Caller in the 400 block of Observatory Avenue reported at 10:22 a.m. July 9 that a vehicle had been burglarized overnight. An officer took a report.

DEAD CAT: Caller in the 100 block of Washington Court reported at 12:45 p.m. July 9 that a dead cat was out front. Streets employees were to be notified the…
