Huffington Post reports that some states rely heavily — a few entirely — on electronic voting machines that don’t have a backup paper trail. They are ripe for hacking, in case somebody named Boris might be interested.

An accompanying graphic with the story identifies Arkansas as a state where some machines without paper trail might be in use, but Election Commissioner Stu Soffer says paper trails of varying sorts, depending on the machine, are in use throughout the state.

Related: Reports are that 150,000 attempts were made on Election Day 2016 to hack into South Carolina’s voter registration system.
