Authorities recovered the body 70-year-old Jordan resident Charles Hogan Daniels who jumped from a boat on Norfork Lake Sunday afternoon and never surfaced, according to a news release from Baxter County John Montgomery.
Authorities got a call from Jordan Marina at approximately 3:47 p.m. Sunday informing them of Hogan’s disappearance into the lake. Three witnesses reportedly saw Hogan jump into the water.
The Arkansas Game & Fish Commission, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and local volunteer fire departments sent boats to the area to search for Hogan along with a boat from the sheriff’s office.
