Comfort food, love build houses – Colorado News

The fourth annual Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity Mac and Cheese Bake-off and Silent Auction, Thursday at Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort, had gross sales of $9,000, a $2,000 increase over 2016.

“If loving macaroni and cheese can help us build another affordable house, then I’m all for it,” said Habitat board President Dale Shoemaker. “If it provides the opportunity for families to permanently transform their lives for the better, then why not?”
