Retailers and restaurateurs along Fourth Street will provide the fourth recurring Fourth Fridays on Fourth Street from 6 to 9 p.m. this Friday, July 28.
The free monthly event — which started in April — features wine, beer, food, live music and more in an effort to activate the Fourth Street business district on the fourth Friday every month. Extended store hours, drink and food specials, discounted merchandise, pop-up shops, live music, arts, double-decker bus rides and more will be available.
“We want to celebrate the independent vibe that represents Fourth Street with a monthly community party involving Retro Row businesses,” Chris Giaco, owner of InREtrospect and president of the Fourth Street Business Development Association, said in a release. “This is such a unique part of the city, and one we’re all proud of our established businesses.”
Highlights of Friday’s event include all-female surf punk band The Neptunes, artist/musician Matt Adams, psychedelic beach art, vintage pop-ups and dreamy back garden at Far Outfit; margaritas and Tian performing at Lola’s Mexican Cuisine; DJ Caveman Leo from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Social List; multi-media artist Regina Nguyen, “Christmas in July” sale, and Long Beach Creamery at Past & Present; 10% discount at Goldies; Marisol Muro’s, Unicorn Graveyard’s and Daizy Lemonade’s vintage clothes, Brandy Wayne’s art, hand-bound game journals StatioNATy, and DJ Sid & Molly at InREtrospect; Stephen Holman art opening, the band Move from 7 to 10 p.m., and VW traveling photo booth at…
