NORWALK — A Norwalk man was arrested Sunday for assault and risk of injury to a minor following what police say was a dispute in which he threatened to kill his children’s mother.
Pierre Robinson, 35, of Stuart Avenue was held on $75,000 bond after being arrested for second-degree threatening, third-degree assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Police were called to a Stuart Avenue address at around 2:30 p.m. on a report of a disturbance. The alleged victim told police that she and Robinson had been engaged in a verbal dispute about the children. That verbal dispute turned physical when Robinson charged the victim and pushed her into a door, police said.
The woman told police that Robinson had threatened to kill her. Police say the minor children were present during the incident.
Robinson was given a court date of July 31.
