BELOIT, Wis. (AP) — Trace Loehr scored the winning run on a forceout in the 12th inning, as the Beloit Snappers beat the Burlington Bees 4-3 on Monday.
Loehr scored the game-winning run after he reached base on a walk and advanced to third on an error.
The Snappers tied the game 3-3 when Kyle Nowlin hit a solo home run in the eighth.
Beloit starter Matt Milburn allowed two runs and five hits over seven innings. He also struck out five and walked one. Yordys Alejo (4-3) got the win with two innings of scoreless, two-hit relief while Ronnie Glenn (2-2) took the loss in the Midwest League game.
Sam McDonnell homered and singled three times, driving home two runs for the Bees.
