Back to school preparations are in full swing for thousands of families around Pleasanton as PUSD gets ready to open online registration for new and returning students.
Starting Wednesday, parents can go online to register their child for the upcoming school year, purchase items like physical education clothes and yearbooks, and donate to nonprofits that support local schools.
Parents can start the process by logging in to the Future Fund site of their child’s school.
After logging in to the Future Fund page, parents will be directed to print out a registration receipt to bring to walk-through registration.
Using the Q Parent Connection portal, parents will then need to fill out school information and registration forms. After completing the online process for each child, parents should receive an email confirming the information entered on the website.
Parents need to bring those emails, along with registration receipts and two current proof of residency documents, to walk-through registration at their child’s school in order to receive their schedule.
Walk-through registration events will be held at PUSD schools next Monday and Tuesday. Dates and times can be found on each school’s website.
The first day of school is Aug. 14.
