POLICE REPORTS

The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Ukiah Police Department. To anonymously report crime information, call 463-6205.

POSSIBLE DRUG DEALS: Caller in the 300 block of East Gobbi Street reported at 12:53 a.m. July 27 that several people were outside possibly selling drugs. No information was provided on officer response.

KIDS IN PLAYGROUND: Caller in the 500 block of Ford Street reported at 1:27 a.m. July 27 that about 10 “unattended juveniles were in the playground.” An officer responded but the children had left.

PROWLER: Caller on Marshall Street reported at 2:46 a.m. July 27 that a man outside was possibly stalking her. An officer responded and determined the incident was not as reported.

PATIENT REFUSING TO LEAVE HOSPITAL: Caller at Ukiah Valley Medical Center reported at 2:53 a.m. July 27 that a discharged patient had returned and was refusing to leave. An officer responded and arrested a 32-year-old Ukiah man for being drunk in public.

MAN SLEEPING IN STORE: Caller at Big Lots on South Orchard Avenue reported at 1:49 p.m. July 27 that a man was sleeping on futons in the store. An officer responded but the man had left.

SOIL STOLEN: Caller at Home Depot on South Orchard Avenue reported at 12:55 a.m. July 28 that potting soil had been stolen. An officer checked the area for the suspect’s vehicle but it was gone.

WOMAN REFUSING TO LEAVE DRESSING ROOM: Caller at J.C. Penney on North Orchard Avenue reported at 8:54 p.m. July 28 that a woman was refusing to leave the dressing room and was possibly shoplifting. An officer responded but the woman had left.
