The price of gasoline rose 5 cents in the Inland Empire in the last week, still less than surrounding counties.

The Inland average for a gallon of regular is $2.90, compared with $2.97 for Los Angeles County, $2.94 for Orange County, and $2.96 for San Diego County.

The national average is $2.33.
