The price of gasoline rose 5 cents in the Inland Empire in the last week, still less than surrounding counties.
The Inland average for a gallon of regular is $2.90, compared with $2.97 for Los Angeles County, $2.94 for Orange County, and $2.96 for San Diego County.
Factors include the rising price of crude oil and maintenance and flaring issues at a couple of refineries, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California’s weekly assessment.
West Coast inventories climbed during the week, according to AAA’s report.
The national average is $2.33.
