3 charged with disorderly conduct after screaming match – Connecticut News


MIDDLETOWN >> Three people were arrested Friday after allegedly engaging in a screaming match inside a local home and then the front yard.

Nancy Torres, 51, and Gabriella Gurciullo, 22, both of McCormick Lane, Middletown, along with Sebastian Gurciullo, 55, of Ridgewood Road, Middletown, were each issued a misdemeanor summons for disorderly conduct.

Police were dispatched to a reported domestic incident where Sebastian Gurciullo had left the scene after allegedly shoving Torres. When police arrived, Torres told officers that her ex-husband had engaged in a verbal argument and then shoved his daughter, Gabriella Gurciullo.

Torres said her ex-husband arrived at her home after being invited to go over some paperwork. When he got there, his daughter approached him and allegedly insulted him. He retaliated by yelling profanities while entering the home, police said.

Inside the home, all three engaged in a heated verbal altercation and the father swore at the two women, according to the police report. Eventually the heated argument moved to the front yard. The daughter told police she walked toward her father, and then he shoved her. A separate witness told police the father shoved his daughter, police said.

Another witness began recording the incident. The video shows all three people yelling at each other, according to police.

The father admitted he “went after” his daughter and “shoved” her as well as yelled at Torres and his daughter, according to the report.

All three were issued a conditions of release and given a court date of Aug. 4.
