First Friday on tap from 6 to 8 p.m. – News – Gadsden Times – Alabama News

Merchants offering back-to-school items will be open late for August’s First Friday.

The event is set from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Broad Street.

Live entertainment will be at five different locations: The Sinners at Second and Broad streets, Jamie Early at Third and Broad, Peanut and Mother May I at Fourth and Broad, Jeremy Jackson at Fifth and Broad and the Ed Howard Band in front of the Pitman Theatre.

Food vendors will be set up in the 400 block of Broad, and classic cars will be on display as usual.

On tap at 8:30 p.m. Friday is the final installment of the Summer Concert Series at the Mort Glosser Amphitheatre, featuring Departure: The Journey Tribute Band. Coolers and cushions are welcome.

Pets are not allowed at First Friday.
