A 25-year-old Missouri woman is in the Marion County jail and authorities are searching for two other men in connection with an armed robbery in Summit last month, according to a news release from Marion County Sheriff Clinton Evans.
Marian Piatchek, 24, of De Soto, Mo., was arrested on felony charges of aggravated robbery, residential burglary and theft of property.
On July 16, deputies responded to a call in the 200 block of Railroad Trail in Summit. Upon arriving at the home, deputies were told by the residents that a woman and two men beat and robbed them.
The victims identified one of the robbers as Piatchek. They described a second suspect only as being a black male. The third suspect was reportedly wearing a hoodie tightened around his face and wearing gloves.
As Piatchek and the black male spoke with the victims, the person wearing the hoodie entered the home armed with two pistols and demanded money.
The two victims told deputies they were “pistol whipped” and were seriously injured as a result of the beatings. The trio of suspects stole a handgun, cell phone and cash before leaving.
The victims could not tell deputies which direction the suspects went upon leaving nor could they describe the vehicle the suspects drove, according to the news release.
Investigators asked for and received a warrant for Piatchek’s arrest. They tracked her down to a residence in De Soto, Mo. They then contacted officials with the county sheriff’s office, Jefferson County, where Piatchek lives and asked for help in locating her.
