The fair might be 99 years old, but it’s website is brand new and online at moffatcountyfair.com. The new website launched about a month ago, said fair board member Kaycee Stagner. It’s easier for fair board members and staff to update, and Stagner feels that it is easier for visitors to navigate. Local Melody Villard donated her time to build the site using a program that allows for easy management of photographs. Social media integration and photo sharing are important features that will allow the fair board to easily compile images as part of next year’s celebration of the fair’s 100th anniversary, Stagner said. The new site is optimized for viewing in mobile devices and will be updated frequently during the Moffat County Fair that got underway on Monday.
