SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Jonah Arenado homered and singled, scoring four runs and driving home a couple as the San Jose Giants topped the Inland Empire 66ers 13-10 on Saturday.
Dillon Dobson doubled twice and singled with three runs and three RBIs for San Jose.
Trailing 2-1 in the third, Inland Empire took the lead when it put up three runs, including an RBI single by Jared Walsh and an RBI double by Keith Grieshaber.
San Jose answered in the bottom of the frame, scoring five runs to take the lead for good. The Giants sent 10 men to the plate as Dobson and Jalen Miller hit two-run doubles en route to the three-run lead.
The Giants later added four runs in the fourth and two in the seventh. In the fourth, Steven Duggar hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Matt Winn, while Dobson hit an RBI double in the seventh.
Matt Solter (4-0) got the win in relief while Inland Empire starter Joe Gatto (0-1) took the loss in the California League game. Dylan Rheault retired the side in order for his 19th save of the season.
Walsh homered and singled twice, scoring three runs while also driving in three for the 66ers. Grieshaber doubled twice and singled twice, scoring two runs.
