One person was killed late Sunday night in a boating collision on Lake Havasu. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded around 9:30 p.m. Sunday to reports of a crash in the lake between Havasu Landing and Lake Havasu State Park.

A passenger from the Carrera was able to remove all people from the water and onto his boat. The Eliminator sank a short time after the crash, the news release said.
The Carrera continued to Windsor Beach, where the injured passengers were treated by Lake Havasu City firefighters. The operator of the Eliminator was pronunced dead at the scene. Four people were taken to Havasu Regional Medical Center. One person was flown to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department said.
