How to enter Comic Con Palm Springs drawing by giving blood – California News



LifeStream blood bank invites real-life superheroes to help save lives ahead of Comic Con Palm Springs by giving blood — and in the process become eligible to win one of three Comic Con Palm Springs packages.

Comic Con Palm Springs is Aug. 25-27 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

LifeStream will select one winner at random for a pair of three-day VIP passes that include premium seating to the Lynda Carter concert and more. Two winners receive a three-day VIP Membership pass that includes early admission Friday, entry into Saturday’s after party and more.

Winners will be notified Aug. 21.

For donors to be eligible to win the Comic Con packages, blood donations must be made no later than Aug. 20 at a LifeStream donor center.

Donors also must specify the code MPCN at registration.

Following are donor center locations and hours.

San Bernardino: 384 W. Orange Show Road. Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday; 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Riverside: 4006 Van Buren Blvd. Hours: 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday; 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday; 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Ontario: 1959 E. Fourth St. Hours: 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday; 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Donors must be at least 15 years old. Those younger than 18 must present a signed parental consent form. Donors must also feel well on donation day, weigh at least 110 pounds and present photo ID.
