Man held at Metallica concert, suspected of urinating on girl, parents – Arizona News

A man suspected of urinating on a family during a Metallica concert in Glendale Friday night faces charges of disorderly conduct and indecent exposure, according to Maricopa Count Superior Court records.

Daniel Francis Daddio, 44, of Albuquerque, is suspected of urinating on a man and woman and a 10-year-old girl, records said.

The family was sitting in a row in front of Daddio at the concert at University of Phoenix Stadium when the incident occurred around 9 p.m., records said.

The family told authorities they felt warm liquid running down their backs and legs, court records said.

The father turned to see where it was coming from and saw a man, later identified as Daddio, behind him with his genitals exposed, records said.

Court records say the father confronted Daddio about what he was doing, and the man merely shrugged. The father then reported the event to stadium employees, who notified the Department of Public Safety.

A DPS offer responded to the location and was pointed to Daddio by the father, records said.

Daddio denied the incident ever occurred, but was arrested at about 9:40 p.m. Daddio’s ticket confirmed he was sitting directly behind the family, records said.

Daddio was suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident, according to court records.

Daddio is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 18.
