Middletown arrests for Aug. 6, 2017 – Connecticut News


Middletown police reported the following arrests:

BREACH OF PEACE: Glenn Burby, 51, of Miles Avenue, Middletown, was arrested Aug. 6 and charged with second-degree breach of peace for allegedly hitting another person in the head with a beer bottle. He was released on a $500 bail and issued a court date of Aug. 18.

LARCENY: Julie Lamb, 46, of North Broad, Meriden, was arrested Aug. 4 on an outstanding warrant and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear Aug. 18 in court.

VIOLATION: James Brown, 34, and Dawayne Allen, 26, both of Chamberlain Road, Middletown, were arrested Aug. 6 and each charged with violation of a protective order and disorderly conduct. Brown and Allen allegedly got into a physical fight with each other, and both had a preexisting protective order against the other. Both men were held in lieu of $500 bail and issued a court date of Aug. 7.

LARCENY: Corey Butchell, 40, of High Street, Middletown, was arrested Aug. 5 on two warrants and charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear Aug. 18.

BREACH OF PEACE: Kelly Brennan, 48, of Main Street, Middletown, was arrested Aug. 6 and charged with breach of peace. She is accused of getting into an argument with a man known to her and kicking him in the groin, police said. She was released on $5,000 bail and issued a court date of Aug. 7.

BREACH OF PEACE: Christi Etheridge, 50, of East Main Street, Middletown, was arrested Aug. 3 and issued a misdemeanor summons for breach of peace. Etheridge is accused of scratching a woman with her nails and throwing the woman to…
