There were 62 bookings at the San Joaquin County Jail in the 24 hours ending at 8 a.m. Tuesday. At that time, there were 1,371 people held at the jail, which has an official capacity of 1,665. When the jail is full, some inmates may be released early.
Robbery: Two people robbed a man and a girl at gunpoint about 10:40 p.m. Monday in the 10000 block of Muir Woods Avenue. One of the robbers went through the man’s pockets taking his cellphone and money, while the second robber left with the girl’s purse. There was no physical description of the robbers provided to authorities.
Robbery: Two men sitting in a vehicle were robbed by four people about 12:20 a.m. Tuesday in the 5200 block of Cosumnes Drive. One of the robbers struck one of the men with a gun, causing a small cut on his lip. One suspect was described as an Asian male wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans, and about 18 years old, 6-foot tall and 120 pounds. A second suspect was said to be a 17-year-old male, 5-foot-6, and 120 pounds, and wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. No description was available for the remaining suspects.
The Stockton Fire Department responded to 127 calls for service in the 24 hours ending at 8 a.m. Tuesday, including nine vehicle accidents, 95 medical calls and two structure fires.
