DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — John Andreoli had a walk-off double with two outs in the 11th inning, as the Iowa Cubs defeated the Sacramento River Cats 6-5 on Tuesday.
Chesny Young scored the game-winning run after he reached base on a walk.
Matt Gage hit an RBI single in the fourth inning to help give the River Cats a 4-2 lead. The Cubs came back to take a 5-4 lead in the fifth inning when Taylor Davis hit a two-run double.
Sacramento tied the game 5-5 in the eighth when Chris Shaw scored on a double play.
Andreoli doubled twice and singled, driving home two runs in the win.
Pierce Johnson (3-2) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Kraig Sitton (5-4) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game.
For the River Cats, Shaw doubled twice and singled, scoring two runs.
