Crews were working to restore electricity in parts of Central Long Beach Wednesday morning after an outage knocked out power for about 750 customers, according to Southern California Edison.
The outage started around 5:15 a.m., said Mary Ann Milbourn, a spokeswoman for the company.
Crews are still trying to figure out what caused the problem, but it began near the intersection of 7th Street and Temple Avenue and reached through the surrounding area, Milbourn said.
Some traffic signals were likely affected, she said.
Workers began restoring power to customers starting near 7th And Temple, and by 8 a.m. they had gotten electricity back for all but 19, according to Milbourn.
