BRIDGEPORT—A fire that started in the back of a pickup truck Wednesday may have been set deliberately, police spokesman Av Harris said.
Police officers and fire fighters responded to the burning car around 12:40 a.m. It started in a parked car near the intersection of Beechwood Avenue and Norman Street.
The fire is under investigation. The truck fire happened about a week after the downtown Subway sandwich restaurant caught fire—also a suspected arson set in the early morning hours.
