Salida School District staff return to work today, kicking off a school year in which the district will aim to continue strong academic performance while adapting to new graduation guidelines and addressing issues arising from growing enrollment.
District Superintendent David Blackburn said there will be no major changes to how the schools operate this year. Instead, district staff will focus on “building a legacy” of practices that make Salida schools great and extending “the season of excellence we have been enjoying.”
