2 teens stabbed near Mira Mesa High School – California News

Two teenagers were stabbed during a fight near Mira Mesa High School Thursday night, San Diego police said.

The teens, ages 17 and 19, were pulled over near the intersection of Ivory Coast and San Ramon drives when residents in a nearby house went outside and got into an argument with them, police said.

The altercation escalated into a fight in the street, and the two companions were stabbed several times in the back.

They drove off and flagged down officers not far away, on Flanders Drive near Westonhill Drive, about 7:40 p.m. Paramedics took the teens to a hospital. Their wounds were not life-threatening, police said.

Detectives with the gang-unit were called in to invetigate the stabbing.
